St Nicolas du Pelem is a traditional Breton village, with a 15th century church, village square and a fountain at the centre. It is situated in rolling hillsides, with woodlands and streams nearby. Within walking distance is the Bois de Beaucours, forest with marked trails and a fishing lake. The nearest towns are Guingamp and St Brieuc, but the village offers a range of shops and services (including schools), a tourist office, and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Only 25 minutes drive away is the Lac du Guerledan, for swimming, boating and fun on the beach. This is an ideal, safe, location for holidays or for your move to Brittany, with walking, fishing, cycling, golf and plenty more to see and do.
